(n)   wa·tu wa·zu·ri   /ˌwäˌtü wäˌzürē/

1.   (plural) Beautiful people. From Swahili mtu zuri, literally, beautiful person.             Watu meaning people or population. Wazuri, meaning a collective beauty.

 

2.   (singular) A salon and line of haircare product designed for people of African         Descent with Curly, Kinky, and nappy hair. A communal place where the                 fashion, popular culture and politics of aforementioned people are discussed.       (Opp. of “bad hair,” i.e. “I’m going to pop you if you break another comb,” or           “you’re hair ain’t no longer than ‘snaps’” or “jig-a-boo,” “pic-a-ninny,” “African             booty scratcher” and any associated term)
